10 Reasons to Choose a Louvre Shade Roof
Whether you’re a builder looking for a reliable supply and installation team, or an individual wanting to transform your outdoor area, Louvres from Louvre Shade are a great choice. We have installed hundreds of Louvres and our exceptional customer satisfaction rate is a testament to the quality of service we provide.
In Western Australia we have a fantastic climate, with Perth well documented as being the sunniest capital city in the world. Installing a Louvre Shade operable louvre roof can give the user complete control over the sun. With a simple press of a button the louvre blades rotate to a desirable angle to either block out heat and UV in the summer, or allow in heat and light in the winter.
Marine-grade aluminium extrusions
Marine-grade aluminium will not rust like steel. This excellent quality material ensures your Louvre will stand the test of time and cope well with the harsh coastal environment of Western Australia.
Quality, Australian manufactured parts
With the exception of the European motor, all parts are Australian aluminium, hardened plastic or 316 grade stainless, for quality and rusting prevention.
Rain sensor fitted as standard
The roof will automatically close itself once it senses rainfall keeping your outdoor furniture dry and protecting it from the elements.
High-volume internal gutter
The high-volume internal gutter ensures there is a big enough volume to cope with heavy downpours when those storms inevitably arrive.
Transform Your Patio
Louvre Shade can transform your patio, balcony or entertaining area, into a controllable environment, where the fully automated, parallel interlocking blades open from 0 to 135 degrees, at the touch of a button. The opening louvre roof system can be fixed to your home or be freestanding and either flat, pitched or skillion in design.
Our opening roofs are custom made to the clients specifications. All the frame, posts, blades, gutters and drive extrusions are manufactured from a marine grade 6000 series aluminium. Aluminium is an alloy which doesn’t rust, so has excellent properties against corrosion caused by the harsh salty environment here in Perth and throughout WA. The aluminium is extruded to order in South Australia and powder coated in house, so the aluminium extrusions can be any colour on the Dulux or Interpon powder coat range, not just colorbond colours.
Convenient remote control
Our Louvre roofs are operated by a state of the art hand-held and multifunctional remove control. This controls the Louvres and other accessories e.g. lighting.
Colour matching
We can match the powder coating of the Louvre to the colours around your house. Alternatively, you can choose one of the many colours from the Dulux and Interpon Powder Coating range.
Huge frame spans up to 7.2 meters
Market-leading frame spans of up to 7.2 meters. This means we can span further without the need for additional posts keeping your area feeling spacious and open.
Integrated LED lighting options
Take your outdoor space to the next level by adding LEDs. These lights can be angled to shine on your BBQ area and can be dimmed to create beautiful mood lighting to transform your space.
Parallel interlocking blades
The blades interlock with a brush seal inside to prevent water penetration between the blades. This stops water from dripping through, protecting your outdoor area.
Huge blade spans of up to 4.2 meters
The ability to span 4.2 meters reduces the bays required to span many alfresco. This results in the Louvre becoming more cost effective.
